Ag Month Fun For Your Family From Our Family!

Are you looking for something fun and different to do this month?

Why not take a trip to the Indiana Statehouse and visit the Food For Thought Display while it is showing there on March 14-16, in honor of Ag Appreciation Month?

Welcome Towers of the Food For Thought Display

Indiana’s Family of Farmers is sponsoring this Indiana Humanities Council exhibit that is both informative and engaging.  It includes plenty of interactive information about Indiana’s farm families and even offers you the opportunity to tell your food story.

It also includes our very own Hoosier Cabinet — a 19th Century Invention common in kitchens throughout the state. Ours features artifacts and inventions from the era, as well as a touchscreen quiz about Hoosier food!

If you can’t make it to the Statehouse,  the display will be travel around the state this year and make several appearances–including this year’s Indiana State Fair.

However, if you can make it to the Statehouse to celebrate Ag Month with us on March 14-16, you will also be able to see displays from many different  farm organizations that represent many different types of farms across the state in addition to an ag photo gallery of this year’s Indiana State Department of Agriculture’s photo contest winners.

Plenty of fun for you and the family awaits you!

Happy Ag Appreciation Month!
